Oft sind die Menschen so wahnhaft, dass sie denken, sie könnten G-tt mit ihren Mitzvot bestechen.
Und der Talmud Menahos sagt: «Es sei denn, jemand sagt, dass G-tt ein Speiseopfer braucht.» Es heißt: «Selbst wenn Ich hungrig wäre, würde Ich es euch sagen?»
Das bedeutet: Ich brauche euch nicht.
«Denn Mein ist die Welt und alles, was sie enthält, soll Ich das Fleisch von den Stieren essen?» (Psalm 50, 12- 13). Und weiter heißt es dort in den Versen 10 und 11: «Denn Mein ist jedes Tier des Waldes, das Vieh, Tausende von Bergen, die Kreaturen auf dem Feld sind Mir untertan. Ich habe dir nicht gesagt, dass du opfern sollst, damit du sagst: ‚Ich werde Seinen Willen tun, und HaShem wird für mich arbeiten.‘ »
Eine Person, die versucht, G-tt zu bestechen…
«Du opferst nicht um Meinetwillen», sagt HaShem, «sondern nur um deinetwillen.» Wie es in Vayikra 19,5 heißt:
«Schlachte es, um dir einen Gefallen zu tun.» Und so ist alles, was wir in diesem Leben tun, nur für uns.
G-tt ist vollkommen. Er braucht nichts. Heute widersprechen viele berühmte Chabadniks dieser Lehre. Sie sagen, dass G-tt Sie braucht, das ist empörend.

Many times people are so delusional, they think they can bribe G-d with their Mitzvot.
And Talmud Menahos says : «Unless someone says that G-d needs a sacrifice of food.» It says: «Even if I am hungry, would I tell you?»
Meaning: I dont need you.
«For mine is the world and all that it holds, do I eat flesh of the bulls?» (Psalm 50, 12-13). And ist also says there in verse 10 and 11: «For Mine is every animal of the forest, the cattle, thousands of mountains, the creatures in the field are subject to Me. I did not tell you to sacrifice so that you should say ‚I will do His will and HaShem will work for me.‘ »
A person trying to bribe G-d…
«You do not sacrifice for My sake » says HaShem, «but only for your sake.» As it says in Vayikra 19,5:
«Slaughter it to find favor for yourself.» And so everything we do in this life it is only for us.
G-d is perfect. He does not need anything. Today many famous Chabadniks contradict this teachings. They say that G-d needs you, it is disgusting.
