Was ist Heiligkeit – und was macht uns heilig?
Was macht dich heilig? Die Antwort lautet: getrennt von den Völkern.
Ich bin nichts wie die Völker. Ich bin nichts wie die Chinesen, nichts wie die Christen, nichts wie die Hindus, nichts wie die Muslime, nichts wie die Atheisten.
Zwischen mir und ihnen gibt es gar nichts gemeinsam, überhaupt nichts.
Sie lernen aus der Torah – gut für sie
Sie lernen von uns einige der guten Dinge, von denen die Torah spricht. Also übernehmen sie sie in ihrer Religion oder in ihrem täglichen Leben.
Gut für sie. Gut für sie.
Viele Christen lernen aus der Torah, keine Diebe zu sein oder zu heiraten… und sich niemals scheiden zu lassen.
Katholische Hochzeit – Einbahnstraße. Das war’s.
Es gibt viele Dinge, die sie aus der Torah lernen.
Einige Dinge haben sie verdreht, aber einige haben sie richtig übernommen.
Also – wenn sie aus der Torah lernen, kann das für sie nicht schlecht sein.
Aber wir haben nichts mit ihnen gemeinsam
Aber ich – und du – wir haben nichts mit ihnen gemeinsam.
Sie können uns so viel nachahmen, wie sie wollen.
Gut für sie, wie ich sagte, aber wir lernen nichts von ihnen.
Warum?
Weil wir alles im Buch G-ttes haben – und Er hat es uns gegeben.
Wir sind der Hauptschlüssel
Wir sind der Hauptschlüssel.
Alle anderen, die uns kopieren – es kann funktionieren, oder auch nicht.
Manchmal funktioniert der andere Schlüssel nicht so gut.
Du bleibst vielleicht nachts um 2 Uhr draußen stecken.
Was ist mit diesem Schlüssel los?
Es ist nicht das Original.
Verstehst du, worum es geht – oder nicht?
Wir haben alles – direkt von G-tt
Der Punkt ist:
Wir haben alles bekommen, was G-tt wollte, dass wir tun.
Wir haben es direkt von Ihm bekommen.

What Is Holiness – and What Makes Us Holy?
Now, what makes you holy? The answer is: separated from the nations.
I am nothing like the nations. I’m nothing like the Chinese people, nothing like the Christian, nothing like the Hindus, nothing like the Muslims, nothing like the atheist.
Me and them have zero in mutual, nothing.
They Learn from the Torah – That’s Good for Them
They learn from us some of the good things the Torah spoke about. So they copy it in the religion or in their everyday lifestyle.
Good for them. Good for them.
Many Christians learn not to be thieves from the Torah or to get married… and never to get divorced.
Catholic wedding, one way street. That’s it.
There are many things they learn from the Torah.
Some of the things they twisted, but some of the things they learn from the Torah.
So if they learn from the Torah, for sure, it cannot be bad for them.
But We Have Nothing in Common with Them
But me, you, we have nothing in mutual with them.
They can imitate us as much as they want.
Good for them, like I say, but we do not learn anything from them.
Why? We have everything in the book of G-d and He gave it to us.
This metaphor says it all. We hold the master key – directly from HaShem.
We Are the Master Key
We are the master key. Everybody else that copy it, you know, may work, may not.
You know, sometimes the other key doesn’t open so smooth.
You may get stuck at 2 a.m. What happened with this key?
It’s not the original.
You get the point or no?
We Got Everything – Directly from G-d
The point is that we got everything that G-d wanted us to do.
We got it directly from Him.
